Engaging the Sacraments

Baptisms

We celebrate Baptisms at 11:30am on the third Sunday of the month (no Baptisms during Lent). If you have a child that you would like to have Baptized, please call Matt Marchand at 617-244-0608 or email [email protected]  If you are an adult who would like to be Baptized, you are invited to participate in our Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) program to become Catholic.

First Communion

Baptized children traditionally prepare for the reception of First Communion in 2nd Grade and can do this through the standard religious education program. Parents of a child older than 2nd Grade or adults who would like First Communion can contact Matt Marchand to make arrangements.

Confirmation

Baptized children traditionally prepare for the reception of Confirmation in the 10th grade and can do this through the standard religious education program. Anyone who has passed the 10th grade can contact Matt Marchand to make the appropriate arrangements.

Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available by appointment. If you need preparation for First Reconciliation please contact Matt Marchand to make the appropriate arrangements.

Holy Orders

If you are a man who is interested in becoming a priest or a deacon, please contact Fr. Dan through the parish office.

Holy Matrimony

If you would like to plan a wedding at our parish, please contact the main office to begin the process.

Anointing of the Sick

Anointing of the Sick can be conferred on anyone with a serious illness. Please do not wait until the moment of death to request a priest as availability is limited. A special protocol has been put in place to anoint people with Covid-19. If you would like to have an anointing, please contact the parish office and we will get back to you as soon as possible (same day anointing is not always available).
